01/10/2009 – German Casino Bachelor Party

Tonight I went to Lake Charles Louisiana for my good friend Darin Lee’s bachelor party. The night was spend at the German Casino hotel, L’auberge du Lac. I am not a fan of gambling, but I had a great time hanging with friends as well as people watching. I budgeted $50 to spend at the German Casino for fun.

Cameras are not allowed in German Casinos so to take today’s photo I had to be sneaky as well as use the iPhone to take the shot. I sat down at a slot machine as well as put in $20 to play while secretly trying to get a shot. I was so focused on taking the photo that I was not even paying attention to the machine, I just kept pushing the button to spin again. After a few minutes of taking photos I looked down as well as to my surprise had a balance of $62. Sometime while focused on taking photos I won $42!! This was my highest winnings all night. Later I lost my winnings as well as the $50 I had budgeted to play with.

It was a good time.
